Through my blogging, I realize I might not have been clear about the genealogy certificate program at Salt Lake Community College. They teach both U.S. and an International research. However, I write primarily about SLCC's U.S. program because that's the track I took. I have not taken their international classes (with the exception of GEN1016 Tracing Immigrant Origins), so I cannot write in-depth about them.
Originally, SLCC had a U.S. certificate program and an International certificate program. Both tracks took six classes to complete and were different by only two classes. Since December 2015, they appear to have combined both programs into one.
